GridPIQ reports maximum ramping rates for pre- and post-project load profiles. These ramping rates are computed for both directions, e.g. ramping up and ramping down. Upward ramps are computed by finding the maximum difference between consecutive hours, and downward ramps are computed by finding the most negative difference between consecutive hours. Ramp rates are also computed for the fossil-corrected pre- and post-project load profiles. More information on fossil correction can be found here.
